about

From Utsunomiya, Masanori Nozawa’s first album proves Techno has emotion.

Lifting off the journey begins with “Felt The Sphere" in warm ripples , synthesized lyrics of ambience, we find soul and stream ahead."Unknown Ruins" is a mid-tempo track with echoes of balearic delay as its journey begins while "Iridescence" is a full blown rave tune empowered with colorful, shiny electronic sound and is the stand-out track on the album. The following song "The Orb of Day" is laced with the sentimental saxophone by Shiba@FreedomSunset and and a subtle acid sequence takes us to evening twilight. After ascending the summit of emotion "Beautiful Planet" is reminiscent of Shoegazer with its faint noise and eases us its sense of relaxed openness. The album continues on its journey and enters "Mercury Breath" replete with synth blasts and a dazzling yet soft atmosphere. Wrapping up the album we enter an a-cappella sky with sustained resonance as we touch down in silence in "Return to The Galaxy".

The album comes with the remix album produced by some of the leading artists in Japanese dance music. Hiroshi Watanabe who has connections with Kompkt popular artists in the club XTAL and Inner Science and success abroad. Matsusaka Daisuke has deep understanding of Ambient music, skilled artist Jun Ymmabe aka Mexico, and Keita Yano and Hironori Takahashi also prove their skills. Each of the 8 artists remix the tracks utilizing their individual artistic abilities and style. They reflect their musicality to interpret and remix in various genres like Techno, Minimal and Ambient.
